Poem about Grecian Plays
Throughout the world is sorrow
We must find a new distraction
How do we look forward to tomorrow
Spark a new reaction
Distract your exhausted mind
Go see a show
There are many a kind
The jokes and stories will help you grow
Even in the hard times
Comedies leave the audience reeling
Tragedies contain many crimes
They spark a new feeling
Even if the show comes off as odd
The seats and costumes beam with glory
The audience waits, no longer flawed
They can't wait to hear the story
We must find a new distraction
How do we look forward to tomorrow
Spark a new reaction
Distract your exhausted mind
Go see a show
There are many a kind
The jokes and stories will help you grow
Even in the hard times
Comedies leave the audience reeling
Tragedies contain many crimes
They spark a new feeling
Even if the show comes off as odd
The seats and costumes beam with glory
The audience waits, no longer flawed
They can't wait to hear the story
This is wonderful, Meghan. It seems that you could have written your poem about life in ancient Greece, or about what is happening with us today. Was that what you had in mind?
