This is an Ancient Greek temple honoring the god Zeus. This used to be the largest temple in Ancient Greece, having 104 columns. However, only 16 columns remain today after the temple became unused and people took its materials. At the top of the columns are beautiful grecian artwork. The columns are used on this temple for support and also decorative purposes.

This is The Parthenon. The Parthenon is a building that was dedicated to the goddess Athena. The Parthenon is a very important building, its different elements of art and architecture such as the columns show breakthroughs in grecian art history. This building was also representative of the victories that the Greeks had over Persia. As you can see in the picture, most of it is still intact and it is surrounded by rocky ground.
