Human Geo Semester recap

Recap the semester. Create a blog post that discusses your experience in Human Geography. What was your favorite topic? What was the most interesting thing you learned? What was your most memorable class period? 

My experience in human geography was amazing. It was so interesting to learn about people and cultures all over the world and learn all about how people adapt to different environments. I think my favorite thing we learned in human geography was when we learned about the conflicts in different countries such as the Syrian civil war or the Sudan civil war. It was interesting to learn about current events and how people functioned during such tough times. I think my most memorable class period was learning about all of the LDC countries and MDC countries because I liked learning about how different countries are from each other and what causes countries to be further behind in development than others. This period was also eye opening because it showed me some of the problems that other countries have to deal with on the daily.

One of the main reasons I liked human geography so much was because I liked the way Mr. Fendryk taught about the topics. He explained every topic in an interesting and engaging way and it really helped me to understand what he was talking about. I looked forward to our daily discussions in this class and the fun group work we were able to do everyday to further understand the information. Overall, I had a great experience in human geo and I'm glad I got to experience taking the class to learn more about the world around me and just how big it is.
